Brexit and political uncertainties as a trend: prepare your business

27-03-2018 08:30 à 13:00

The Brussels Chamber of Commerce - BECI, with the International Chamber of Commerce in Belgium – ICC Belgium, and in partnership with the British Chamber of Commerce | EU & Belgium, invites enterprises to gather for a practical seminar on dealing with Brexit and other political risks, just after the next European Council meeting.

At that date, enterprises involved with the impact of Brexit may hope to be able to assess more clearly what kind of trade deal or transition period can be expected. Nevertheless, it will also be the right time to identify some lessons to be learnt and actions to be taken in the light of the Brexit that was officially notified on March 29th, 2017.

With Brexit as a broad signal on how divides among citizens all over the world can impact the international trade environment and your business, how can enterprises reinforce their preparation for political uncertainties and disruptions? This involves information and skills in aspects of a.o. cross-border contracting, customs, VAT, currency fluctuation risks.
